Zayandeh river is alive again

After more than one year, Zayandeh river located in Isfahan is full of water for 24 days. Everyone was happy and were singing and following the water as it was coming to the river in the city. Isfahan, Iran, 02/11/2009.

It's more than one year that Zayandehrood is without water because of drought in Isfahan/Iran. Because there was no water for planting in autumn they had to open the dam for a few days to help the farmers. On Monday when water was again in Isfahan all of the people were happy and celebrate this event. Although the water is in the river just for 24 days but it has gave us happiness again.
