National Scout Day in Indonesia: Pramuka in Bahasa Indonesia, which stands for Praja Muda Karana, or 'advance reliable youth' in to English.
Celebrated every 14 of August every year, just few days before Indonesian Independence day on 17 August.

The celebration usually consisted of ceremonies and appreciations for those who have contributed for the advancement of the organization. Here in Pontianak the ceremony was held in the town centre and attended by students from nearby schools: junior to senior high, Catholic, Islamic and public schools.

This year also included the distribution of masks and the campaign to use them due to concerns the quality of air that has been classified as hazardous. The burning of agricultural land in the planting season has brought this issue to the region each year, it leaves the government hopeless.

It was mentioned in the speech, yet people do not seem to heed it.
