Over 3,000 demonstrators gathered around Syntagma Square to protest against the greek government, and demand a reform of the global financial system in unity with demonstrators in other countries. Athens, Greece. 15th October, 2011

Demonstrators gathered before 6 pm in Syntagma square, where the crowd listened to an array of musicians on a central stage on the main square, united for change in global financial reform. A live feed of Occupy Wall Street was being transmitted throughout the entire concert. A larger crowd also gathered in front of the parliament building on Amalias avenue in Syntagma square, where they protested against the already established financial reforms. Amalias Avenue was subsequently closed to traffic, once the crowd grew large enough to cover the avenue. Police presence was kept at a minimal and no incidents of violence occurred.
