A contemporary Don Kichot who be aware of that he fights against the windmills, an idealist who is determined to notice his expression to the world, a citizen who knows that to be chosen is a right as choosing, an activist who works night and day mulishly.. In 2009 municipality elections, a man who lives in a modest İstanbul neigborhood with limited economic facilities and describes himself as a modern painter, sculptor, photographer, decor designer, writer and art pedagouge; tried to prove that it is not only the favor of “rich” people, racing for administration. Güner Yener (45) gave a fight to come into existence, in the middle of this wild election period. Independent candidate summarizes his aim as “showing a political standing” and discern election, a chance to tell people his projects about his enviorement. Guner Yener made his propaganda by telling his projects on streets, by delivering his announcements, driving his car by himself. He left behind 10 political party with 302 votes in where 130.738 ( İstanbul – Maltepe Municipality acceptable vote sum ) votes has been calculated. Photographs are the papers of an election diary which belongs a man who thinks that the real sucess is to venture to participate this race.

In The Shadow of The Reactor: Cogulhan Afsin-Elbistan thermal reactor is working since 1983. Last 23 years with out a flue gas purification system. Reactor’s harmful effects terminate the enviroment, makes people sick and create a death zone that has a fifteen km diameter. There are desolated gas stations, hauses and buildings on the road that goes to reactors. The ashes of coal that used to create heat energy has been collected on empty yards. The flying ashes by wind is very dangerous for living things and nature.. The villages around the reactor have been expropriated by government. Desolated areas remind battlefield. Reactor effects agricultural areas directly. Agriculture harvest decrease % 65. A road seperate Cogulhan town from reactor and there are too close play pens to reactor. In town there are no options other than hanging in coffehouse. Reactor has not created any employment as opposite to due. There are many people who has illness about their lungs, throats or other body parts. A known story is living in Afsin-Elbistan ( Kahramanmaras-Turkey). Reckless politicians, desperate people. Some of them could be moved somewhere else but the others are stil waiting for their certain final. This story has been made up only to show the situation.
