The Olympic Torch arrived in Whistler as it made its way to Vancouver for the opening of 2010 Winter Olympic Games on February 12th. Crowds of over 15,000 welcomed the flame at Skiers Plaza in Whistler where music by local groups and the Whistler Children's Chorus, fireworks, light shows and speeches brought the Olympic Spirit alive.
Whistler will be host to the Alpine skiing, Ski jumping, biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Nordic Combined, Luge, Skeleton and Bobsled sports.
