The American combat medical rescuers fly with their smooth Pawe Hawk helicopters into the battlefield of Afghanistan to rescue allied soldiers, enemy troops and local Afghans. They land in the middle of firefights and fly the wounded or dead soldiers to the field hospitals for further treatment. Often the conditions are harsh and they are forced to land in a middle of nowhere under attack, they repel down unto riverbeds or they have to rescue the wounded from the air. The Pedros main priority is to save lives.
