The third edition of Trafic's motto is 'Looking / Telling'. The Center for Documentary Photography of Barcelona is responsible for organizing this event from 4th to 8th November, 2009. Barcelona, Spain. 04/11/2009. Trafic is a forum and a platform from where people build an experience with photography. Different activities are understood through the exchange of material between the audience and the members of the photography community: institutions, collectives, authors and professionals. This year’s most important novelty is the sponsorship of Magnum Photos. Trafic will have the presence of six of its members in Barcelona, who will be presenting its work through audiovisual screenings within the framework of the CCCB’s evening program. Salón del Manga de Barcelona is a convention of manga, anime and Japanese culture. Barcelona, Spain. 31/10/2009. The XV Salón del Manga de Barcelona (from 29th October to 1st November) took place in the town of Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). Three spaces were enabled by the organization to perform a multitude of activities. The audience enjoyed new anime and manga. The otaku (manga series loyal fans) populated the streets of the city and gave color to the festival. Otaku's clothes always creates the expectation, though some showed more passion than skill in making clothes. At the festival there were exhibitions of drawings and Japanese urban fashion, workshops to learn how to play Go, drawing and sculpture workshops. The hungriest visited the restaurant, while others read his Manga. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful and the public participated in three days dedicated to the Japanese manga culture. This festival is a good excuse to approach to the new anime and manga world, see singers, artists and experts in contemporary Japanese culture. Certainly the festival is an annual event, awaited by fans of Japanese urban movements.

Graffiti artists, musicians and breakers at the 'Tarragona Urban Festival'. Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain, 25/10/2009. For three years, from 22 to 25 October, held in Tarragona Caixa Forum 'Tarragona Urban Festival', where a full program curated by Gabriela Berti Urban shows Art and Culture of Hip Hop. This time the activities were focused on the celebration of 25 years of Hip Hop in Spain. Everyone was invited to carry the spray to write the Liberated Area Graffiti. Activities included lectures and a documentary area about graffiti. It was remarkable the Old School Graffiti Exhibition, with names indispensable as Zeta (Madrid) or SN (Barcelona), who painted in live recreating some of their historical works. The day was enlivened by DJ Koa, Electro and Rap sounded. TheFestival peaked with Jazzyrrizla music group, they have proven to revitalize the hip hop scene, without forgetting the roots.
