SOLO 7- writing for peace
Context
Story:
Solomon Muyundo, aka SOLO 7, an artist living in Kibera Nairobi, Kenya's largest slum, took to the streets during Kenya's post election violence in early 2008 in protest of the looting and killings. Solomon painted political slogans of peace virtually everywhere in Kibera, seeking to protect fellow citizens and their homes and businesses safe from violence.
