The French embassy in El Salvador was the responsible for giving salvadorans the chance to see this amazing mime. France Ambassador to El Salvador, Blandine Kreiss, attended to the show. The theater was crowded and, as a humility gesture, Laurent performed before his students. “Performing first is a way to show that teachers are not better than students and also for technical reasons” he said about that gesture.
Laurent said his experience with Salvadorans students has been magnificent, because he learned something from them. “There are still things to invent”, he said.
Laurent was a pupil of great mime Marcel Marceau, who died at age of 84. “He was like a father to me”, he said. Laurent said that Marceau died the same year that his real Father died, and almost at the same age.
Laurent is now going to Panama for performing. He said he would love to come back to El Salvador soon.
