Zama Radebe (6) of Imbali in Kwazulu-Natal South Africa was the recipient of a message and 1 euro in a bottle that was "posted" in the Danube river by a German child in Neuburg Schrobenhausen in Germany.
Oliver Gelder (8) wrote a short letter to a Child in Africa saying 'please use this Euro to buy yourself some food.'
The bottle was found by Elizabeth Haberhorn in Ingolstadt Germany and was given to her daughter Olga Platier who is involved with a child support NGO called Syabonga
The bottle was brought to South Africa by Rene Risch of Syabonga who in turn gave the message and money to Zama.
Some bread and meat was bought with the money and shared by Zama with her friends. Zama Radebe is seen at her home and with her Grandmother Elizabeth Radebe in Imbali, South Africa.
